Finding it hard to work out how much time you should be studying for? Let’s quickly balance your life RIGHT NOW
Grab a piece of paper & a pen because you are going to want to write this down!
Here’s the the secret:
So there are 24 hours in the day & 3 main things we need to balance: work, sleep & free time
24/3 = 8
Meaning you should spend 8 hours for each area to ensure an even balance.
8 hours sleeping, 8 hours working, 8 hours to do whatever you like!
Whenever I say this people always ask me if school counts and the good news is yes - yes it does! But... If you want to make this balanced & fair you can't count lunch or break time.
So for example, if your school day is 6 hours in total and you have 5 X 1 hour lessons and a 1 hour lunch break that’s 5 of your working hours complete. Then you'd spend 3 hours in the evening revising & completing the work day.
This is the ultimate way to ensure you don’t overwork yourself but get enough done but I do want to also stress that everyone is different so you may need to tweak this to work the best for you. Furthermore, working effectively for 6 hours in the day (completing tasks with 100% focus) is MUCH better than working for the full 8 with only 50% concentration.
Use this as a guide to plan your revision and let me know how it goes!
